New Silhouette Greek Yogurt by DANONE

Silhouette Yogurt

Hello to all my happy blog followers. I had to post about this new product I bought the other day and instantly fell in love with.

DANONE has created a new low calorie, zero fat, delicious stirred Greek Yogurt. The one thing I love most about this yogurt is that one serving contains 50 calories and 8g of protein. That’s a lot of protein in a tiny little cup. As everyone knows, I love DANONE’s Silhouette yogurts and I use them in my Basic Smoothie Recipe and my Amanda’s Special Breakfast Parfait recipes. This new yogurt by DANONE is just as amazing and can be used in the recipes just mentioned above as a great protein boost after your daily workout. Also, because it is stirred Greek yogurt, the texture is thick, much more thicker than the regular Silhouette varieties.

If I can encourage you to go out there and try something new, I would highly suggest this yogurt. If you do, please leave a comment letting me know if you liked it as well. I am just happy to share my new favorite treat and I am NOT being paid by DANONE to promote this.

CheeCha Puffs

This is one of my top snacks to have in place of chips. They come in many flavours but the Sweet Cinnamon is by far my favorite. If I am camping, traveling or on a small road trip I always bring these along because I always get the munchies when I travel. These are light and only 97 calories for 2 cups. In the world of weight watchers these are only 2 points (old) for 2 cups. A lot better choice then a small bag of chips with a ton of calories and fat. You can eat the entire bag and not feel the least bit guilty.

Healthy Homemade Pita Chips

I am a sucker for chips and salsa and if you are too, I have a great guilt free recipe for you to enjoy.

  • 1 Weight Watcher Pita
  • 1 tsp of extra virgin olive oil
  • Mrs. Dash salt-free garlic and herb spice
  • Salsa around 20 calories per serving.
  • Pre heat oven to 400 degrees

Take one full pita and cut into 8 triangles. Unfold and split the triangles for a full 16 pieces. Next place a tsp of the oil on a plate. I then brushed the chips with the oil on the plate (I used half the oil on the plate). I then sprinkled the pitas with the salt free garlic and herb spice and a light sprinkle of seasoning salt. I then baked the chips for 6 mins at 400 degrees in the oven. I placed 2 tablespoons of salsa in a small dish and dug in. OMG these were amazing. If you are following the old point system it’s 3 WW points for the whole serving. The only issue I had was making sure I had a few pita chips before my husband ate them all.
